i realise that there is a big different between what some hockey fans consider a good logo and what i do. even if i trey, i cant understand how someone could **** the Mighty Ducks, Penguins (90ers), Sharks, and Sabres (late 90ers) logos but on the other hand think that the Bruins, Rangers, Maple Leafs and the old Minnesota Northstars logos is cool. If you ask me they are really really borring. it seems to be the same with the NBA logos, people aparently **** the Pistons and Rockets logos from the 90ers and the Raptors, Hornets and Timberwolves logos. i can clerarly see why someone would love the Redwings, Blackhawks and the old Sabres logos… this is truely beautifull logos but the Maple Leafs and Bruins? why is logos with wild and beautifull animals considered ugly while a leaf with script, a B inside a circle or an N with a star is considered good looking. please tell me, because i dont understand it. Why is many simple and borring logos considered good looking?
actually i think the present Penguins logo is one of the best in the league, i just dont understand why some people **** the logo from the 90ers… if you ask me, both penguins logos is really good looking… and i dont just say that because i like the team… i like the leafs aswell.

And yes ofcouse it is the Hockey that matters but thats no excuse for looking terribly while you play. how would you feel if Lemieux and co. decided that the Penguins from the upcoming season should be renamed to the “Pingies” and play in pink… oh that would just be so cute… little baby penguins lol. thats almost as bad as an relocation, isnt it?
Ryan. Is that really the reason you like the old ones better? because the new logos have to many weird colours? you make it sounds like that you only love the Bruins and Leafs for that… because they are classics.

The Blackhawks and Redwings is classic teams aswell, but i actually think their logos is pretty good… so to me it dosnt really matter how old the logo is… whats matter is if the logo looks good or not… mayby i just like them better because they arent as borring and simple.
Plain ol Jeff. I actually happen to think that the best Sabres logo is their original… really cool logo. but the one from the 90ers was pretty cool aswell and surely alot better than the one they are using now… even Bruins, Rangers, Leafs, Thrashers, Blue Jackets and Ducks have better logos.
awesome bill. i am 23 years old and i am sorry if it sounds like i am putting all americans in a box. i dont want to… that was why i was writing “Why do (SOME) American hockey fans”.

And i just ask because i dont understand it. to me it sounds like SOME people just love them because they are classic… thats not how a logo should be judge. ofcouse i could be terribly wrong… i am just trying to find out what it is about this old logos. Is it just some kind of, all thing was better when I was child?
Corey B. I agree. The Blackhawks logo is amazing. i dont really like the Oilers and Predators third logo either. oh and dont forget the Flaming Horse Head (Flames) and the Green Bull Head (Stars). hoever they are still alot better than the curent Ducks and Sabres logos.

Well that is surely the most interesting answer. simple so kids can draw them? well i remember when i was a kid. i also loved to draw the logos. and i could draw the Mighty Ducks, Avalanche and Penguins (90ers) logos… but ofcouse i have always been good at that kind of stuff. to tell you the truth i dont really think that it is a very good reason to **** a sportsogo, because you arent good enough to draw it… but non or less it was still an pretty interesting opinion and i thanks you.

Great hockey i thought, Hard hitting. I am a ducks fan and I thought they played great when full strenght, they where getting help from all lines. How about the end of the 1st period there checking line dominated non stop in the sens end. Sens looked tought in the beginging came out hitting hard then it looked like the contiuous hitting by the duck broke them down . Overall very exciting,

For V-Day I’d like to buy Ducks tickets for my bf. They play the Dallas Stars on Friday, and the Calgary Flames on Sunday. Sunday is just an easier day for the both of us to go. also, the wild are playing the ducks on his birthday (march 8th)… would that be better? i honestly don’t know what teams are good, and which ones are just ok.
