My favorite game was between the Dallas Stars and Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the 2003 Stanley Cup Playoffs that went into five overtimes before the Mighty Ducks won it. Great game.

Is complaining the only thing Anaheim fans can do?

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009
Ric asked:

Geez, your team is one game away from the Cup, and all you can do is complain about the refs, or Neil, or Alfy, or the NHL front office for trying to “rig” the games for Ottawa. YOUR TEAM IS ABOUT TO BE THE STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS. Think about that. It’s OK to support your team, but take winning with some grace, please. Root for your team, don’t vilify others. Enjoy your celebrations, the Ducks (for the most part) have won with a sense of class. I hope the fans can learn from that someday. That being said, congrats to the Ducks and to the Sens for both having great years.

I’m neutral to the Finals (Wings fan here), and I’m just sick of seeing people that try to bring up conspiracies and whine.
I’m not trying to solve the problem, I’m just saying people need to think a bit more positively about this situation. If my team was winning the Stanley Cup Finals, I would have nothing to complain about.

who do you think will win out of Anaheim and Detroit in the western conference finals?

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009
Duxfanforlife92 asked:

i think the ducks will win bcuz they r gettin marchant back probably a top 10 penalty killer that anahiem has and they have been hot as of late and giguere will not give up more then 2 goals this series and in game 1 or game 3 hasek will be chased from the net after allowing 4 goals and i think they will be able to win the cup vs either team in the eastern conference and i really doubt that they can survive vs both western conference teams bcuz they r just way to good and come on who wouldn’t love to have the west win the cup again i would love it if anahiem would but bottom line is the winner of this series wins the cup

That’s crazy, California definitely does not need another basketball team! That’s pretty much Clipper and Laker territory!

The Anaheim Ducks currently lead the NHL in home attendance percentage (dont ask me how they figure the percent, I dont know!)

My point: Last year, they finished 17th.
The year before that? 20th
